It started in the stands.

I’m the parent of two competitive student-athletes in track, football and basketball here in D.C. I’ve sat through the recruiting emails, the camp invitations, the coach calls and the conversations at the kitchen table. I’ve watched talented kids and loving parents make big decisions with too little information.

I started Praxis Athlete Advisory because I had spent my career helping large organizations make high-stakes decisions, and I saw families facing decisions just as important with no one in their corner.

What I bring from my career.

I began as a corporate lawyer at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, working on private equity deals for firms like Blackstone and KKR. I then moved to Washington to work in policy and government affairs, where I secured a seat on the CFPB Advisory Board.

I then led strategy and partnerships at global organizations, including YPO, International Justice Mission and More in Common. Most recently, as Chief Transformation Officer at Consumer Reports, I redesigned the operating model of a $244 million organization.

Through Praxis Momentum Partners, I also resolved a national sports authority crisis involving governance, investment and athletes leaving the program. That work taught me how much is at stake for athletes when the adults around them get decisions wrong.
